This is home to our change management&nbsp;system!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is change management?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a platform for anyone and everyone to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Propose new ideas\u00a0<\/li><li>Provide feedback on other ideas<\/li><li>Stay up to date on changes in the organization.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the benefit?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We can share our ideas with each other.<\/li><li>Everyone can see when a change is coming.&nbsp;<\/li><li>To provide an explanation for changes.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Everyone can provide input.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What type of changes is it for?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Warehouse layout<\/li><li>Procedures on any volunteer activity e.g. order gathering, sorting, etc.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Anything that has an impact on others in the organization&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does it work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fill out a form with the proposed change, benefits, and potential impacts. Don&#8217;t worry, the form walks you through it! Forms can be found in the purple box tacked onto the board. <\/li><li>Tack your form under <strong>New<\/strong>. <\/li><li>Let others provide feedback in the feedback fields on the form. <ul><li>The New Life team will faciliate the feedback process. e.g. The Client Administrator will talk to Client Hosts. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Once feedback in all relevant areas has been collected, we will notify you that it&#8217;s been approved or if it needs revision. <ul><li>If the revision requires additional feedback, the form will stay under <strong>New <\/strong>and the revision will be highlighted. If no additional feedback is required, it will be moved to <strong>Approved<\/strong>. <\/li><li>If approved, it will be moved to <strong>Approved<\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The change will be implemented and team members will notify those impacted. <ul><li>If it&#8217;s a multi-step change, it&#8217;ll be moved to <strong>In Process<\/strong> and checked off along the way. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Changes that are for safety reasons may bypass initial steps but all those affected will still be notified. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What if I&#8217;m not in the warehouse?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Email Amanda Wolfe, Operations Manager, at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:amanda@newlifefb.org\" target=\"_blank\">amanda@newlifefb.org<\/a> and she&#8217;ll post it on your behalf and keep you updated on it.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This is a new process for all of us, so let us know how we can improve it along the way.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You may have noticed a large bulletin board in our check-in area.
