1. Personal Belongings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lock personal items in a locker in the volunteer area and hang jackets on the coat rack. To avoid getting anything lost and ensure a neat workspace, please do not leave any of your belongings on tables, couches, or any other furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Lighting:<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The bathroom light is always on and all other lights are automatic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winter<\/h4>
<\/i><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Turn the heat up to 68 degrees in the rooms you will be using. There is a thermostat in each section of New Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Section 1 (elevator): On one of the columns by the processing area<\/li>
  • Section 2 (showroom): On one of the columns by the dining room tables<\/li>
  • Section 3 (HHGS, bathroom): On the rear side of the heating unit<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Summer<\/h4>
    <\/i><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Turn on the fans placed around the warehouse as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Open the fire escape door in the elevator room.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Ensure everyone takes the belongings they brought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Clean up<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Leave the space tidier than you found it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Equipment and supplies are back in their designated locations<\/li>
    • Furniture and household goods are out of aisles and workspaces<\/li>
    • Boxes are broken down and put away on cardboard shelf or recycled<\/li>
    • Aisles, especially fire exit<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Winter<\/h4>

      Turn each thermostat down to 55 degrees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Please check all three thermostats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Turn off all fans and close the fire exit door in the elevator room.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Turn off any extra lights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Elevator<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Ensure the elevator doors are closed on our floor and the first floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
