Fees will only apply to pickup requests submitted April 1, 2023 or later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first Saturday collection will be April 29, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Payment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>People will be accepted through cash, check, Venmo, or on our website through credit card. People will be required to show proof for the latter two options. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New Life will provide a receipt. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intake Procedures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the last Saturday of the month (unless holidays conflict):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Park the truck in the bay closest to the entrance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon recieving bed(s), determine if each is 1) good or 2) trash. Apply a trash sticker to the top in the upper righthand corner if it&#8217;s trash. It needs to be in a consistent location for when it gets unloaded at the mattress facility. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accept payment of $35 per mattress\/box spring regardless of size. For credit card via the website or Venmo, the donor will need to provide proof of payment. Showing their phone screen is fine. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Record the following on a receipt. Give a copy to the donor. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payment type<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put the beds directly into the truck separated by condition. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When there is down time, load beds accumulated from pickups into the truck. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the end of the shift, return the truck to the parking lot. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supplies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Trash stickers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receipts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cash box<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Basement Layout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Changes coming soon.
