About #
- Welcome Home strives to provide families experiencing hardship with basic household items they need to live with dignity. We are a local nonprofit organization in Newton, Massachusetts, that collects and redistributes like-new household items to hundreds of people in need each month with no fees, no forms and no requirements. Any items that we cannot use are repurposed or recycled appropriately, thus benefiting the environment.
Drop-off #
- Mondays: 1pm-2pm
- Wednesdays: 2pm-3pm
- Thursday: 10:30-11:30am
- Reservation is required use the link in the Process section to reserve a time. Someone will respond with date and time options.
Processes #
- To make appt for donation contact Welcome Home – WELCOME HOME (welcomehomemass.org). You will need to know how much you’ll donate (# bags, trunk full, car load).
- Sign up using SignUp Genius.
- Select a date that has an open time slot
- Click the little white box to the right of the orange Sign Up button
- Click Submit and Sign Up button
- Arrive at Welcome Home for your reserved day and time.
- Pull up into the parking lot. Volunteers will check the items and take the items they can accept.
