Starter Kits

  • There is only one size starter kit.
  • As a commodity, starter kits do not need to be uploaded; just inventoried.

Supplies #

  • Boxes
  • Marker
  • Packing material
  • Packing tape
  • iPad
  • Inventory Cart
  • Pots and pans
  • Kitchen, bathroom, and other household essential items

Steps #

1. Assemble items. #

  • Unless noted, all items are optional. The goal is to get the client started, but the actual contents will depend on inventory. Items should be neutral
  • No plastic food storage containers.
  • Wrap knives in bubble wrap or foil and tape for safety.
  • Avoid adding juvenile items e.g. pink polka dotted basket

Kitchen #

  • Required: Pot
  • Required: Pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups/spoons
  • Casserole & other serving dishes
  • Bakeware
  • Cutting board
  • Assorted cooking utensils
  • 1-2 Knives
  • Kitchen towels
  • Potholders/oven mitts

Bathroom #

  • NEW Shower curtain
  • NEW shower liner
  • Bath mat
  • Soap dish

Other #

  • Waste baskets
  • Laundry bags/hampers
  • Storage baskets/bins
  • Throw blanket
  • Hangers

2. Pack all items into a box, hamper, or container and secure with packing tape. #

Pack the items tightly so they cannot move. Remember, they pass through a lot of hands and need to survive delivery.
